Shipping Information

Terra Kendama uses Canada Post as its shipping service. Visit Canada Post's website for more information on their services. We ship out of Vancouver, BC. 
We work hard to ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner. Most orders are shipped within 1-2 business days of receiving them. We're a small company, but we do our best to make sure you get your order as soon as possible!

 Shipping within Canada

  • Orders over $99 receive free shipping!
  • Orders within Western Canada usually take 1-3 days to arrive once shipped (expedited parcel). 
  • Orders to Central or Eastern Canada usually take 3-12 days to arrive once shipped (expedited parcel). 
  • The XpressPost option will generally arrive within 1-5 business days.

Shipping to the United States

  • Orders over $150 receive free shipping!
  • Orders shipped via Small Packet Air Mail usually arrive within 5-12 business days. Small Packet Air Mail does NOT include tracking.
  • Orders shipped via Tracked Packet usually arrive within 5-12 business days. Tracked packet shipping includes a tracking number.
  • Orders shipped via Expedited Parcel usually arrive within 4-7 business days, and include a tracking number. 
  • International orders can, on occasion, be delayed by random customs inspections, weather, etc. Estimated delivery times are not a guarantee, they reflect the average delivery times.

Overseas Shipping

  • International orders shipped via Small Packet Air Mail usually arrive within 5-15 business days (location dependant). Small Packet Air Mail does NOT include tracking. 
  • International orders shipped via Tracked Packet usually arrive within 5-15 business days (location dependant). Tracked packet shipping includes a tracking number.

 All orders will receive an email confirmation from us once they have been shipped. 

 Please note:
If an untracked shipping method is selected, the customer assumes the risk of a package being lost. While we always recommend using a tracked method, in our experience it is very rare for an item to go missing - less than 0.5% of our past untracked orders have been reported as undelivered. Shipping options that include tracking are available for most destinations. 

Return Policy

An item may be returned for a refund or exchange within 2 weeks from the day it is received by the customer. For exchanges, we will not cover the additional shipping costs incurred. We will not replace any item that has been opened, played with, dropped, damaged, or otherwise marked. In the case of a return, a refund (less the cost of shipping) will be issued once the item has been received by us and determined to be in good condition.

FAQ

How do I restring my pill?
We recommend a bowline knot for the spike side (M), and a simple slip knot and bead for the top side (F). Check out our maintenance page for more info!

How does the currency converter work?
While our shop will conveniently display all prices in your local currency, you will checkout using Canadian Dollars (CAD) at the most recent exchange rate available. Currency conversions are handled automatically by Paypal or your credit card issuing company. No extra steps required, even if CAD is not your local currency!

Do you offer any discounts or promotions?

Yes!  Here is a list of our current discounts and promotions:

  • We offer free expedited shipping on orders of two or more jumbo pills in N America. The free shipping rate will automatically become available during checkout. If you experience any problems receiving this discount, please send us an email and we'll work it out for you!
  • We offer free shipping on Canadian orders over $99, and US orders over $150. 
  • We offer a 5% discount to any customers that pay using Bitcoin (BTC), just use the promo code 'BITCOIN5' when checking out. We save money when customers pay with bitcoin, so we'd like to pass the savings along to you! Please note that this discount is only valid for orders paid in BTC, if it is applied to an order paid for by an alternate method, we will refund and cancel the order.

Many of our products are produced in small runs, so they are not for in stock at all times. We post information about shop updates to our Facebook Page and instagram (@terrakendama), so be sure to check it out often! To receive updates directly via email, join our mailing list by filling in this form.

What sets your kendamas apart from the other brands? 
We love details, and kendamas are a very detail-oriendted toy. Products from our shop are made one at a time, by hand, so the amount of work and care put into each and every one of our products guarantees that they're top notch. We're big fans of using rare, exotic, and beautiful woods to make our products, so if you're looking for something special you can trust us to create it.
